Learn to appreciate difficulties you’ve passed through for a couple of years now. Look back on your life, and see how God has helped you through difficult days. It has been difficult in many ways, but you made it through by God’s grace. God promises not to leave or forsake you when you are in His kingdom of heaven on earth.
Be stimulated by the challenges you encounter along the way this year. Knowing that you are not alone, God is with you every step of the way. As you journey through rough terrain with the Lord, gain confidence from your knowledge that together you, and God can handle anything. This knowledge consists of three parts: your relationship with your Creator, promises in the Bible, and past experiences of coping successfully during hard times.
So, with confidence, stand strong, take a deep breath, ask the Lord to renew your strength, and mount up with wings like eagles. It’s time to rebuild ruined things, places, lives, relationships, careers, and nations of the past. Let’s be a repairer of the breach, and a restorer of our nations.
Scripture says:
“I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, (people groups) and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.”
“And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.”
“And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.”
Remember that your Saviour remains the same throughout time and eternity. This is the basis of your confidence. In His Presence you live and move and have your being. Failure is not an option.
